Refshaleøen, an artificial island in Copenhagen, was originally home to one of Copenhagen’s most legendary employers, the giant shipyard Burmeister & Wain. When they were forced to close after years of downsizing, a new kind of worker found their way out to the island. Artists, entrepreneurs, musicians, and producers. Apart from being the property owner of the island, Refshaleøen Holding has both commercial, political and cultural interests they wish to promote and engage in. Their visual identity reflects their different areas of interest and has a strong link to their unique industrial past.
